Sunday afternoon

It's a sunny Sunday afternoon, this is what I have been hoping for, for about 3months...however this weekend is the weekend were Mr.Jones is at work & I have lots of journal reading to do, so we can have a wonderful Monday together <3

I did get a little distracted with the new app I have on my phone 'Instagram', it lets you take photos, edit and post them all in one go! I may well be behind with the whole technology but I am very happy to have found this app...and actually be able to use it!!!

I have to say a massive thank you to our wonderful friends who after there trip to Morocco brought back this gorgeous bowl for us, I have promised to fill this with sweets, which I have already started doing...I am however unsure on just how long they will last there on the table in front of me!! 

  

I did also cheer myself up from all this reading (...and film watching, photo taking, and generally procrastination at its best) with some Sunday hot chocolate and instagram, I would say this is the same cup but that is a HUGE lie, two cups for one person...yummy scummy!!

 

I have also continued with my love of pin-interest and added a lot more to my collection of boards! With a list of items to go craft shopping for not greatly extended...I'm not sure how much Mr.Jones will let me get away with, but there is always worth trying! I do just wish I had more ability with crafts but I think that will just come with practice...or so I keep telling myself :) If you want to check it out, please do.

It also gives you plenty of ideas about gifts for friends, I have planned some birthday and dare I say Christmas gifts for people. Some people I know are so hard to buy for, so the personal touches make all the difference...so I best get practicing.

A new beginning...

Afternoon everyone!

I have decided to get underway with blog writing. I was reading in a paper that blog writing is a good hobby and a great thing to put on your CV. However, I have a lack of motivation today and this seems to not only be directed to my university work but also at blog writing.  At the moment my life consists of the picture below...

Lots and lots of reading...the highlighting is great though! Especially after my introduction to the 'stationary storage' room at work. Which is massive...I was like a child with candy!! There were files in every colour...needless to say I spend a great deal of time there, and plan on a very long trip there next week :) I have in my procrastination state come across my previous love of 'snack a jacks', I find that when procrastinating from work that food seems to make a massive impact into your life. Well I thought I'd grab a quick picture now before they all disappear...good job its shopping day tomorrow!!

With all this rain it could make you feel really down, but today for some reason I am really enjoying the sound of it against the windows :) I do wish I could just walk around like the girl in the picture below, but I don't want to get wet... It also means that my purchase of a new north face jacket last week wasn't a complete waste, yet I am regretting not buying the lovely wellies that I saw on offer! Should resist but that are calling me...they may end up in the wardrobe sometime soon! I did manage to clear out my wardrobe last week...again! That's four bags in total, for anyone that knows me will understand the amount of effort that took...but does mean I have more room to fill now :) 

Well that is all for now, although maybe not the most interesting or factual but it is a start which is always a positive move. A glass half full, rather than half empty! Lets see if I can have a far more exciting time for the next blog.
